Background

Codex Neon is a lively planet packed full of neon cities and bioluminescent wildlife. Expansion to the Neon Halo surrounding the planet was driven by overpopulation and environmental considerations. The Halo is reserved for the wealthy and successful, with lush gardens, floating forests, and entertainment centres. That's not to say that the Codex Underground don't make it over there from time-to-time to stir up trouble...

Governing structure

In this vibrant world, the ruling elite are shrouded in mystery and clad in hooded robes. They form an enigmatic group known as the Halo Ascendancy, who base themselves on the artifical rings around the planet. They demonstrate their governance through the capital city, Osirion, featuring a magnificent neon pyramid, serving as a symbol of their power and authority

The ruling elite, called the Halo Ascendancy, control the energy that powers the glowing cities. When pockets of the Codex Underground rise against them, they cut off the power, causing blackouts. The Codex Underground seeks to infiltrate the Neon Halo around the planet and destroy the elite. The world is in turmoil, with uprisings and dissent.
